Can the RAM in the MacBook Pro 15-inch (2018) be upgraded?

No. The RAM is soldered to the logic board and cannot be upgraded after purchase. The maximum configuration available at the time of purchase was 32GB of 2400MHz DDR4 memory.

What are the storage upgrade options for this model?

The SSD is soldered to the logic board and cannot be replaced or upgraded. The maximum factory configuration was 4TB.

Can the battery be replaced?

Yes, the battery is replaceable, but it is glued into the chassis and requires specialized tools and adhesive for removal and installation. Apple and authorized service providers can perform the replacement.

Is the processor upgradeable?

No. The Intel Core i7 or i9 processor is soldered to the logic board and cannot be upgraded after purchase.

Can the graphics card be upgraded?

No. The dedicated AMD Radeon Pro GPU (if equipped) is soldered to the logic board and cannot be upgraded. Some configurations rely solely on integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630.

What other components are upgradeable?
