Can the RAM be upgraded in the MacBook Air (M3, 2024)?

No. The MacBook Air (M3, 2024) uses unified memory that is soldered directly to the logic board and cannot be upgraded after purchase. The maximum available configuration at time of order is 24GB.

Can the storage (SSD) be upgraded?

No. The SSD is soldered to the logic board and is not replaceable or upgradeable. Storage capacity must be selected at the time of purchase.

Is the battery replaceable?

Yes, the battery is a replaceable component, but it is glued into the chassis and requires professional service or careful disassembly to replace.

What other components can be upgraded?
