Can the RAM in the iBook G3 (Clamshell) be upgraded?
Yes. The iBook G3 (Clamshell) has a single user-accessible SO-DIMM slot. It supports up to a maximum of 576 MB of RAM (the original 64 MB soldered on the logic board plus a 512 MB PC100 SO-DIMM).
What type of RAM does the iBook G3 (Clamshell) use?
It uses PC100 or PC133 3.3V 144-pin SO-DIMMs. PC133 modules will run at PC100 speeds in this system.
Can the storage drive be upgraded in the iBook G3 (Clamshell)?
