Apple iMac 2.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo (24-inch) was first offered in fall of 2006 and Apple touted it as the “fastest iMac ever” and emphasized the machine as a perfect marriage of professional performance and consumer convenience and versatility–especially with its adherence to the by now iconic all-in-one iMac design. The innovation of placing the processing hardware that hard previously required a capacious box or tower was introduced in this model, making this iMac an attractive buy for previous iMac owners.
